SUN POWER

Solar panels

With the help of our solar panels with
an estimated power capacity of 998250W,
we expect to save 771 tonnes of CO2 per
year and 30% less of the total consumption.

ENERGY

Optimize power and water expenditure

Our chosen lights were the most efficient
and advanced factory-wide LED’s available,
which perfectly fit our irregularly low ceiling
whose main purpose is to reduce the unnecessary
air circulation area and, at the same time,
optimize power and water expenditure.
Our leading control electric panel let us know
the exact amount of energy spent on every
single machine, allowing us to have a real time
kind of management, and to know precisely
where to improve, if needed.

MACHINERY

GRINDING

 Industrial equipment

Considering similar businesses models,
it has been confirmed that the presented
market options declared a waste rate of
20% to 25%. Our industrial equipment
ensures a waste rate of 10% maximum,
a load that then will be included in
cotton-paper production, which
automatically means that our final
waste rate would be nothing more than 0%.

SPINNING

Progressive machinery

Our progressive machinery consumes 12%
less energy than the existing spinning engines.
This represents an average of less 201
tonnes of CO2 per year.

OPEN-END

Autocoro 9

We are lucky enough to partner up with
suppliers that have the same enhancing
business vision as we do. The new Autocoro
9 was our choice. A revolutionary automatic
motor that, even at maximum rotor speed,
makes significant energy savings, and has the
ability to produce 20 different compositions
at the same time. Furthermore, the new
monitoring system checks online energy
consumption, a feature that makes it possible
to analyse the current energy consumed per
lot or per kg of yarn

If you think sustainability isn ’t an urgent need , take a look at the below and  please,

think again.

COTTON

Conventionally grown cotton uses nearly $2.6 billion worth of pesticides are sprayed on cotton fields each year (more than any other single crop).

In India 50% of all pesticides are used for cotton production, with negative impacts on farmers’ health.
5kgs of Cotton require 140kgs of carbon & 50.000l of water

 On the other hand

Recycled Cotton

Is an exceptional substance, as it’s the irregular result of a mechanical mixture between pre-consumer leftovers and post-consumer waste. One t-shirt can save up to 2,700 liters of water – a fact that will help us massively reduce the environment’s current impact.

Organic Cotton

does not use genetical modified seed and is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.

" Organic cotton production is the only farming system by which cotton is produced entirely free of chemical pesticides and thereby without the risks that such chemicals pose to human health and the environment."

TENCEL (LYOCELL)

Why is it a virgin, but eco friendly fiber

Lyocell is a soft man made fiber, conceived from renewable cellulose commonly
obtained from Eucalyptus, Birch or Oak .
It requires less synthetical processing and it doesn’t result in chemically laden waste
water, as its textile result is completely biodegradable.

It only takes around two and half hours to develop it from chopping the tree to the final carding process, a significant short production period compared to other non natural fibers, which also end up to drastically reduce the amount of water and general energy spent.

RECYCLED ELASTANE

also found its place on such an increasingly matter regarding the fiber industry.

This unique element is no different than the virgin one when it comes to durabilityand purpose, but our recycling option does win when sustainability is the topic.

Recycled elastane doesn’t need any water for its transformation, due to the closed loops system and its source is based on in-house residues of yarn and other polymers.
